Since 1990, Johannes Tan has provided consecutive ("seminar") interpreting, then simultaneous ("conference") interpreting (since 1996) for arbitrations, mediations, court hearings, depositions, insurance investigations, international seminars/training programs, as well as high level bilateral and multilateral events -- both for government agencies and the private sector.

An Active Member of The American Association of Language Specialists (TAALS), he is also an Active Member 
& Credentialed Conference Interpreter of the American Translators Association (ATA).

He fully applies Best Interpretation Practices as prescribed in ASTM F2089-01 Standard Guide for Language Interpretation Services. Occasionally he also performs chuchotage ("whispered") and VIP escort interpreting, narration and voice-over recording. He has a network of qualified professional interpreters with whom he has worked productively throughout the years.
